 | Dumb Question How do you remove the black plastic shift knob on a 2000 Silverado 4X4 floor shift? |

| Nope. Won't unscrew and I don't see any set screw holding it on either. I'm stumped! |

 | the little insert that says 2l 4h etc.. probably pops out to expose a hex nut. Not sure but i'm guessing thats how..

| knowing chevy they probably molded the thing to the stick  , (sorta like press riveting the bed handle together so it won't close), another story. if you plan on replacing it cut it down the middle and split it with a chisel.
