 | Burning Oil I have a friend that owns a 1974 Chevy Elcamino. The thing is burning oil. do any of you know what might be causing it and how to fix it? |

| wanna know something, GM states that a "vehicle does not have a oil consumption problem untill it burns more than 1 litre for every 750 km"  |

| time for an engine over haul or a crate motor time depends on how much time you have. and if it is burning that much then the people around you want to thank for killing the bugs |

| If its burning and not leaking,then i stick to my origional diagnosis. Time for a rebuild.

| until you rebuild, tell everyone that your burning 25:1 chainsaw gas it worked for me, except it was true, i was burning 40:1 chainsaw gas in my car, what you would do when you have no money |
