 | Heater Problem Ok, another problem with the el camino. Whenever you turn the heater on it smells like something is burning. What can I do to fix it? |

 | probally time to change the heater core. Are you loosing any antifreeze?

| Try turning the fan on and see if you smell it with just the fan on. Sometimes grass/debris gets down in the ducting and when the heater, or fan is turned on you smell it. If it is near the resistor coils then it could start a fire in there.

| no, it doesn't smell like that when just the fan is on |

| Looks like time to open it up and investigate. I bet you have some debris up against the heater core, or the resistors for tha fan. just my guess here.
