1995 TBI to Carb
i was wondering if any of you guys have converted or used a chevrolet 454 tbi that was converted to a regular carb.....i know gas will go down a little but power will be up along with a new manifold. there is a shop not far from me and they said itd be roughly 700-900 depending on what all i go for. if you have any input let me know

Wow i could do it for about 500/ Just drop in a new intake manifold and carb, Replace the distribuitor with an older hei and either put a fuel pressure requlater on the fuel supply to drop pressure down to around 8 psi. Pretty simple, just need the part. I did this in a 1989 F350 with fuel injection. Now it is carbeureted and has a standard GM hei style distribuitor. Cost around 800 but that was because the ford to gm distribuitor was a little higher as was the rest of the ford parts compared to chevy parts
