 |  77 Chevy SB with Factory "454 Hello, I am new to this forum so I thought I would introduce myself and ask a question. I am Billyzack from Peoria, Az. and am an avid Chevy guy. I ran across a 77 Silverado (the year they put the yellow stripe in the trim mouldings) and it has a factory 454 with AT, Tach and cruise control. A lot of people I talk to are skeptical as they have never heard of a short bed silverado with a factory 454. I have the window sticker and it has 454 listed as an option. Does anyone know if this is a rare combination and how can I find out how many of these were made? It is factory black and I completely restored it and it is a beauty and I was just wondering if I have got a rare find on my hands. Thanks, Billyzack |

| I'm not sure its very rare as a 454 was a standard option. Why not share some pics of it though. I'd like to take a glance at it. |

| well i know my buddy has an 80's model (85ish) that has a 454 in it, that thing actually runs pretty good, i dunno how rare they are but yeah, welcome to the forum!!

| yeah i know an 84 with a big block in it.. sweet truck, i gotta agree with hayden about postin some pic, those are georgeous trucks

| It is a factory option, Not that rare. actually quite a few were made like that.
