Throttle body cleaner needle in throttle body

Help!!. I was changing out my upper and lower hoses and decided to spray the throttle plate on the throttle body , since I was there. The long tube from the cleaner shot off the can and into my throttle body. Would it hurt anything if I left it in there? If so how can i retreive this thin tube. I treid to reach in with fingers but couldn't feel anything. Help!!

yeah its bad, if you ahve to take your hood off so you can see down the TB beter.......umm after that if you can see ti and have some very thin plyers or long tweezers try and use thoes to grab it and carefully extract it, otherwise start taking it apart carefully till you dig it up

yeah, i would get that out of there. you may be able to dig it out with a mirror and pliers if it didn't make it in the intake. if you can't reach it be prepared to tear her apart.

Are we talking about the littl plastic straw?

I believe they are CG, I doubt it would hurt anything. might get a second or two of black smoke out of the exhaust but if it dont even make it to the intake the gas will most likely eat it up till it does pass through.

tbi cleaner is some nasty stuff,it don't hurt the straw then i doubt gas will either. i just worry about it jamming a valve open.

With the pressure applied from the valve spring it would be crushed in an instant. if this was anything with any real substance to it I would be inclined to agree, but if you couldnt just pull it out with needle nose plyers, then run it. Much like the bean burrito i had at lunch, it will pass. I cant possibly think it could harm anything. the temp alone would cause it to soften if not completely melt. Either way it wont hwrt anything if it runs thru the motor.
