Injector goo please help!!! Trip next week

My first thread. I have a 95 suburban. I bought it 6 months ago. It has 142k on it. I don't drive allot. The problem I am having is goo in my injector channel and injectors. The first time it happened was about 1 month after I got it. I got a fuel filter and 2 new injectors, o'reillys $200 later. About 3 months later it happened again. That time I took the injectors out and the clean them and the channel. It consisted of a black thick goo / syrup, not oil. The third time this happened was last night. I had to drive it home on one injector. About a mile from my house the other one kicked in. It seems to do it when the truck idles for a long time. Like 20 min. After I turn it off then on. Like the gas builds up in a channel and bakes into goo. Please help. Thanks. I can attach a picture if it helps.

Sounds like time to drop the tank and clean the entire fuel system. Probally set for some time and has varnish in the system. Also might help if we knew what year, I wouold guess pre 96 since you talk about both injectors.

I agree with CG, it sounds like the whole system needs to be cleaned out.
