that's a factory option? wow i need a newer truck. it's probably like any other remote, push regular opener and truck opener at same time so the truck opener will set it's self to that signal, just a guess.

theres a garage door opener in my 99 suburban, but it's nothin you set, theres a compartment where you set you door opener, and when you close the compartment, you dont see the door opener, there is just a button on in the roof of your car that hits the button of your hidden door opener. you sure thats not what you have? bc i've never heard of a door opener built into the truck

I set the remote on my wife's Buick like Mud seeker did held the remote up against the one in the car and pressed both at one time. Benny

Here is some info on where you can get help programming it. The customer may contact HomeLink® directly at 1-800-355-3515 for assistance. Assistance is available in English, French and Spanish languages.
• The customer may also be directed to the HomeLink® website at www.homelink.com.
The website is user-friendly and actively demonstrates how to program the transmitter. Many newer garage door openers have a "rolling code" feature and the website does a great job of guiding the owner through the entire programming process.

Hope this helps
