Question Hazard flashers on 2000 3500.

I am new to this forum as of today. I am having trouble with the hazard
flashers on this truck. They were left on for an extended time and after that they never worked again. I have checked two fuses that are related to the hazard/brake. The directional signals work fine. I replaced the flasher on the inside of firewall under the dash. The directional signals work with the old and new flashers, but no hazard fl.ashers. Is there another flasher for the hazards, if so where is it? I have looked all over for it. The flasher has 4 prongs where it plugs in. Is this flasher for both of them? I have a 1993 1500 that has a seperate flasher for each, but I can't figure this one out. I would appreiciate any help on this. I have an inspection coming up on this truck, so I need to get it fixed. I don't
know if this matters, but this truck is equipped with a tow package.

Thanks

i believe the turn signal is square and the hazards are circle, it should be under the dash.

I just checked the schematics of a new and old body style not sure which the 3500 is in 2000 but both of them show 1 solid state flasher 4 prongs that work both the turn and hazzard.

Unhappy Update on Flasher problem

I found my problem. It was in the switch. The switch got hot and melted
a plastic part that holds some contacts. There are three contacts that
are attached to the red button on top of the steering column. When this was left on it got hot and deformed the plastic keeping it from making contact. Guess the lesson learned here is not to leave flashers on too
long. I will probably have to replace the whole switch and I bet it will
be expensive. I think this a defect. Thanks to everyone for the help.
