engine stops running

Have a 1998 chevy blazer. sometimes when driving the engine just quits running like someone just turned it off. when I restart it it starts up fine and will run for either a long or sometimes a few minutes ans does it again. Have had it on a couple machines and no codes are coming up. slowly becoming a non chevy fan THANKS

Check your distributor cap clean the rust off the coil and pull out your modulator should be two little plugs on it and bring it to your locate auto store like auto zone or what not and have them run a test on it to see if its good or bad... I had that same problem with my truck and it turned out to be my modulator was bad...

does all your electrical stuff cut off to? steering, brakes?
