Pics worked great for me. Hey mow much lift you got under it. I like the stance . Considering going with the same ****** tires you got. Any pros or cons with them? Mine will be a 4 door version of yours when its done

6" lift, 36" tires. To tell you the truth there is no mud around here. My bro runs the same tires on his and he says they are awesome. And cheap, can pick em up at for about 40 bucks a tire at surplus yards. They are the old tires off of hummers and what not. I do know this, they do make noise running down the road but it is to be expected ya know

Noise aint a big thing. My trucks are pavement pounders. I spend alot of time off road and off camber. I got to get this new truck together before the rainy season gets here. Does fine on dry dirt, but a 2wd dually wont last long in the mud.

mrjohnwayne: the truck looks great. I like the fact that you chose not to use rear blocks. How does it ride empty? That is a lot of arch which looks like it would ride plenty stiff. Have you considered a shackle flip, converting from a compression style to a tension style? Big lift with not so much arch. Lots of articulation, and a sweet ride. I have a recipe for this using some junkyard parts for much less than most would think. I also have a DIY crossover steering system using some over the counter parts. If you have not made a steering change, look into it, you will love it.

It does ride a little rough as I figured it would. I did not think about the shickle flip. If it requires the stock springs I'm outta luck cause I junked the ones that came out. About the crossover steering it's something that I have considered but havnt given a whole lot of thought.

what exactly is a shackle flip ( is it basically a spring over axle conversion) and what does the crossover steering do?

To my knowledge crossover steering is moving the steering components (tie rods etc..)from the front of the front axle to behind the front axle to keep rocks etc.. from damaging them. At least that is my take on it. 4x4 lingo is still new to me also. I can't explain the shackle flip. I know what it is but from me it would make more sence if I could actually show you.
