| Rusty Rockers So, just about every Chevy/GMC extended cab pickup over 10 years old has rusty rocker panels below the extended cab. My 93 GMC started last year and it is getting pretty bad. I think ol' Myrtle is entitled, though, with 248k on the clock. Other than that, the truck looks good, runs good, rides good. Does anybody make a cheap replacement panel for this section? Any other creative (cheap) ways of fixing this that will last a couple of years? |

| you can get rocker panels pretty cheap at almost any parts store. you can also check the ads in any truck magazine, they have pretty reasonable prices.

| Van door at the local salvage yard make great metal donors, Its is simple, just cut out the badm shape the new metal, tack it in and weld it up. grind it out and put a thin layer of filler over it. Done
