speedometer

Hey does any1 know how to set the speedometer to the right speed? I put some bigger tires than the stock and now its a little bit off.

you need to change the gear in the trany where the speedo cable goes in .
i don't know witch gear you will need, i would ask some one at a reputable trany shop or a tier shop.

that needs a obd II computer proformance controller. i sugest the power programer III, or u could just take it to a shop to do it for u. dont worry if ure not computer savvy, that programmer is real easy to use.

not tryin to hijack this thread, but while on this topic.... if you add larger tires, but dont re-adjust the speedo... will it read fast or slow?

I think it will read slower than u are going b/c bigger tires means you have more surface area to cover for the tire to go all the way around once. I may be wrong.

Bigger tires=slower speedometer reading
Smaller tires=faster speedometer reading
