| you dont want it coming out do you?? any particluar reason why you ask?? if you are planning on changing the fluid, id go ahead and take the pan down and change that filter. by doing that, you can look around in the bottom of the pan and see what your transmission is up to. |

| just remember to flush the tranny only when needed, ive heard you can damage it by flushing it too often or when not necessary

| i dont agree with that completely. Fresh fluid is always a good thing. Sorry scottie. I like the drain plug. Makes dropping the pan alot cleaner experience. But definately drop th epan after draining it. If you cant get thedrain plug out, Then just drop the pan. Great way to clean out all the wear material in the bottom of the trans and have a good look inside.

| if you do have to drop the pan, loosen all the bolts and take out the ones towards the back. it will drain all the fluid to one side so you can catch it and not have it dump all over the place. |

| very understandable. unbolt and lower one side of the pan to direct it into a bucket. you wont get it all over you that way if you dont get the plug out. ive never messed with the plug before. anytime i wanted the fluid out, i dropped the pan. new fluid aint going to do you a bit of good with a dirty filter. like changing engine oil and not replacing the filter. |

| instalube has a pump that connects to cooling lines at the radiator. It inputs new oil & extracts old oil at the same time . you can watch the oil in a sight glass to see when it cleans up. This removes oil from tranny & torque converter. |
