The only help I can be, is to offer you one of our vendors out here in the southwest. I purchase all of my hard to find bowtie parts from "Grumpy's" (www.grumpystruckparts.com). 1-800-457-8679. They carry all of the hard to find 47' through 87' truck parts. They even have a kit to convert the manual windows to power, if you so desire. Good luck, hope this is what you were looking for.

Grumpy's is a good place, but they charge way too much for parts.

ehcees thanks 75k30 & 64longstep for providing a parts source. However, before buying any parts, the original question must be answered. First step is to ID all the internal door window parts. Photo of page from Shop Manual is needed that displays & names all the window parts inside door. Then the door will be taken apart & replacement parts ordered. That is ehcees process.

As a courtesy, the following parts source is provided back for you. In 2005 ehcees bought exhaust manifolds from this source that were less than half local parts store prices, better than originals, shipped same day & honest.

Does LMC have Drawing?

11/22/06 - ehcees thanks mudseeker for his suggestion to try LMC Truck for drawing that shows internal window parts located inside door. Answer is that that my past experience with LMC (on only certain parts) was that LMC was high priced. Further, the Order Desk or phone sales people had become a call center with young ladies lacking in knowledge & familiarity with the parts & with attitude.

This Middle aged truck guy with a 1971 model desires a more historical approach to buying parts. Please tell if mudseeker knows for a fact if LMC Truck has a book that includes drawing of all internal door parts for the window mechanism?

please dont stereotype young ladies. i have known some that could run circles around everyone i know when it comes to in depth engine repair or something as simple as door hardware. im sure that the young ladies that we have on this forum would thank you also if you do not imply that young ladies lack in knowledge and familiarity. thank you.

Drawing 1988-1998 Window Parts

Thanks to mudseeker for the photo from LMC Truck catalog that shows internal window door parts for 1988 to 1998 models. Do you see a similar drawing in catalog that covers 1971 C10? If yes, can you post drawing for 1971 internal door window parts? Your help is greatly appreciated & valued.- ehcees 11/24/06
======================================
For: bradrhale-
ehcees factual account of his encounter with young ladies experience/knowledge on parts @ LMC Truck call center only applies to those individuals with whom ehcees has spoken. Your point is well taken that stereotypes should not be drawn & applied to all persons within a group or type based solely on the performance of a few.

sorry, you would have to order a catalog for free from them in your year range. i have a 97 gmc so they sent me the 88-98 gmc catalog. each catalog from them is truck and brand specific. i am pretty sure they will have what you need.
