| 91 4x4 I would like to replace the shocks on my 91 4x4, because they have never been replaced, and the truck has a harsh ride. ca anyone recomend a decent shock for my truck? i use it in the sand sometimes, and am planning on some sligtly larger than stock tires as well. would replacing the front shocks level the truck out at all? |

| If it is still stock, then the front end is approx. 2 inches lower by design, so the shocks won't level it. If you are going to lift to accomodate larger tires, then buy a leveling kit when you do. |

| A 4" lift would accomodate 33" tires nicely without gearing concerns. A 6" lift would do good with 35" - 37" tires but there's a concern with gearings. If you'er going with a small lift (4") you don't need the leveling kit, it'll level out. Hope this helps.
