BUCKMASTER is on a distinguished road
camshaft

I am trying to get every once of power out of my 03 silverado. So far i have installed a kn air filter summit headers granatelli mass air sensor flowmaster exhust trans-go shift kit hypertech 160 degree stat and hypertech program. I drive the truck everyday to work and on weekends i use the truck alot, so i do want to keep it somewhat driver friendly( a/c, power steering, etc. )I am thinking of swaping the cam out with a comp cam and roller rockers. Would this be the next best thing to do? Does anyone have any advice on what to do next? Thanks for any help.

yeah you can change the cam, but you don't want to go to drastic. A little bigger than stock should do good. As for stock size I don't know.

if you want to plan on doing more than just that, keep in mind while you shop for a cam maybe looking at a new throttle body with larger diameter venturies. guess thats how you spell that. with your truck being so heavy with computer controlled everything, keep in mind also what you replace and alter. it could bite you in the butt later on.

Take some caution with how aggressive you get with a new cam. Your stock ECM has limitations. A cam that exceeds the parameters of the ECM will be useless, and could run worse than the stock one.
Instead of tearing the front of the engine apart, why not consider a rear gear change? If you lower the gear ratio some, you can expect better performance from your truck. This is a sure thing, unlike the guesswork of a new cam. Will probably cost less too. Expect a little less gas mileage, due to the increased rpm's on the highway, but it sounds like performance is what you are looking for.
High flow cats will also help, getting more air in will do no good if it is all stuffed up in a stock cat. converter.
