| Code 24 Hello, just wondering if anyone has encountered this type of problem. A friend of mine has a 1988 S-10 with a 4.3 V6 with almost 200,000 miles. The "Check Engine" light came on and it spit out Code 24--VSS circuit malfunction-- I ran a pinpoint test and came to the conclusion that the culprit was the Vehicle Speed Sensor Module. It's a small little green box that sits behind the instrument cluster. Is this a common problem with S-10's? |

| I don't think it's a common problem but at 200,000 miles, it sounds like a "normal" wear and tear problem.
