| IMO I prefer Flowmaster. There are several options. Flowmaster, borla, magnaflow, edelbrock and many more. Those are a few that have been around a while and will make a kit per vehicle for an easier self install.

| Just opinions here. I am not a big fan of the Flowmaster muffler. They really do not flow that well. Instead I prefer DynoMax mufflers, with the stock 3" pipe, and tailpipe. If you gotta have a cat back system. DynoMax makes them, and they start at about $90.00, and go up based on the muffler. I like the ultra -flo mufflers in this order. The ultra-flo bullet mufflers flow the best, (sound kinda funny with low horsepower), the better sounding and second best flow is the ultra-flo round, those sound pretty good regardless. Last (lowest flow) best sounding is the ultra-flo oval muffler. Lots to think about. If sound is what you are most interested in, you may keep an open ear out for someone that has a truck that sounds good to you. Stop them, and ask what they are runnin. Most guys that modify their trucks are proud of them and are happy to talk about them. Have not met a truck guy on the street that was not willing to share some advice. |

| I Love Flowmaster The Sound They Produce Is Very Retro Muscle Car. For The Money I Dont Think Theres Better. As Far As The Sound Level, They Make A Force 2 System Which Is Very Mild And The American Thunder System ( Super 40 ) Which Gives The All Out Sound. I Definetly Recomend The American Thunder. I Have It In My 03 5.3l And It Sound Great, Also Performance Is Very Good. Hoped This Helped |
