 | 1999 Chevy 1500 tune up I have a buddy that wants to do a tune up on his 99 chevy 1500, 350 v8. He is concerned that afterwards he might have a problem with the Anti theft system. It seems a while back he put a new battery in, and afterwards he drove about a mile and it died, due to the anti-theft shutting it down. Anyone know if this will pose a problem again for him if he doesnt disconnect the battery? thanks for any input |

| tell him to get one of those chargers that plug into the cig. lighter. a 9 volt battery plugs into it to keep juice flowing. i know they keep the memory for the radio but not sure about pcm memory. as long as the battery stays connected he should be fine.
