rough running

This is my first using one of these forums. Here is my question. I have a 1988 chevy silverado 2 wheel drive truck with a 5.7 litter. The problem is when ever I drive it to warm up it acts like it is running out of gas. I have changed plugs, wires, fuel filter and yes I even filled it up. Could it be a catalytic converter starting to plug? or am I missing something obvious.

I agree with mudseeker, check for codes. The first thing I think of is its possible your induction system is cloged or your mass air sensor is going and the engine is calling for air and not getting it. But like mudseeker said definitly check for codes

No "Check Engine Light" hmmm.......try replacing your O2 sensor or check for plugged cat. Either way, it's best to get the light fixed. Does it not have "light" or not functioning kind of thing? The reason being is that if its throwing a code it may still be in memory even after you try these suggestions. Don't wanna tell you you have a bad ECM.
