Headlight Adjustment

How do I set the headlights on a 1996 Silverado?

The previous owner lowered the front end and not the headlights point downward.........and one off to the side a little bit.

i believe the adjustment screws are above the lights, you should be able to see them when the hood is up.

It looks like a torx bit if i remember correctly. It is a little rod that is right behind the headlight assembly.

The Little Rod Is Supposed To Be The Side To Side Adjustment Though.

It Looks Like A Torx Now That I See It.

Drive your truck lights on of coarse at night up to a wall so that you can see when there both at the same height when adjusting them that's how I adjusted mine I also replaced my bulbs with PIAA bulbs much bighter. Make sure that when you adjust them see if you can find a leval spot so both headlights can be at the same height.

there should be two rods for each side, one for horizantal and one for vertical.
