| Did I make a good deal? Hey guys and gals. I just this week bought a 94 Chevy z71 4x4 for $2900.00. The metal and paint are in decent shape. The interior is showing it's 12 years of age. It has a new/rebuilt tranny. The truck has 250,000 miles but the engine runs smooth with no oil problems that I can see. The radiator has a pinhole in the core. Did I make a good deal? What are the thoughts on radiator stop leak products. Should I just go ahead and spring for a new radiator? Are there any bad effects of stop leak on the motor? |

| Stop leaks are more of a patch then a permanent solution. They will work for a while but it will be best to replace the radiator. As for the price, to me it seems a little high but if the body is in good shape and the motor is still running well then it seems like a good deal.
