Shaking 1995 Silverado I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have a 1995 Silverado, 2wd, 5.7 with 180k miles. I've replaced the complete brake system and still get a shaking upon braking. It feels like the truck is coming apart. I used AC Delco parts, I've lubed the driveshaft yoke, the front suspension has no excessive play. It almost feels like the ABS is kicking in. It's not as noticable with a load or towing. Help, I love the truck and hate to lose. Mike

mike, It could be a brake line collapseing or a bad caliper. Both items are really cheap for your truck.

I own a Shop, I've had my best guy on it. I"ve used only AC Delco parts. That's my I'm so frustrated. I've gone 40mph cut off the truck in neutral and it still does it.

Try changeing the transmission fluid and filter. Mine was doing the same thing and I have replaced everything you have plus some. I changed the trans. oil and filter and it fixed the problem. | |

I have, I think it might be the trans. I just want to hear it from another Truck owner before I rebuild the trans. Mike
