| I recently decided to replace an afternarket radio, with the original radio in my 1991 Chevy S10. The truck is a plain Jane model, and either didn't come with a radio, or who ever put the after market radio in it, cut the original wiring. On the left side of the radio, is 3 plugs for the power, and speaker connections. On the right there is a small white plug, with 2 wires-orange and brown. I connected the orange to a power source to enable the radio console and memory, but am unable to determine what the brown wire is for, or what it should be connected to. |

| I pretty sure the brown wire is for the dimmer.you can hook it to your dimmer switch to your gauges.

| a easy way to find your speaker wires is get a AA battery and rub one end to one side and the other and you will hear the speaker and for your brown wire get a light tester and do it that way to see what it is like hayden said |
