'03 Silverado wiper -no pulse- only low/hi

Hello,
Have a 2003 Silverado that recently had the wipers go from "delay" to low speed while it was running. it went back and forth from this condition to regular operations, but now it is always on low speed (can go to high speed from the stalk switch) and is always on , unless i pull the fuse for the wiper.Does is look like my problem is in the motor/pulse control , or in the switch,,,

(Used to be a GM mechanic years ago, b4 airbags etc., so i'm hoping it is not going to take column work,LOL)

Thanks,
Jeff

All of the wiper issues recently that i have delt with have been the wiper module/cover on the wiper motor. Have also been issues with water getting in the modules and connection to it

The wiper switch and maybe the wiper motor itself. How old is the part? Maybe you need to upgrade and replace that already. Check the wires too.
