| 98 S-10 Cold start problems Hi I have a 98 S-10 when starting in cold weather it misses and backfires until fully warmed up. If i park the truck in the garage overnight it starts just fine, the garage stays at 60 degrees any help would be appreciated thanx. |

| My old S10 did something similar.......it also shook violently. How cold is "cold start"? Do you have good antifreeze? That ended up being my problem........ I would also look at the temperature sending unit..... I hope it at least gives you a start.........it could be a number of things...... |

| Well its 17 degrees outside right now, the antifreeze has been replaced. But thanks for the response. |
