98 S-10 Cold start problems

Hi I have a 98 S-10 when starting in cold weather it misses and backfires until fully warmed up. If i park the truck in the garage overnight it starts just fine, the garage stays at 60 degrees any help would be appreciated thanx.

My old S10 did something similar.......it also shook violently. How cold is "cold start"?

Do you have good antifreeze? That ended up being my problem........
I would also look at the temperature sending unit.....

I hope it at least gives you a start.........it could be a number of things......
