Question Torsion Bar adjustment?

I have a 2004 2500HD and I replaced the 245/75/16's with new 285/75/16's on 16x8's. I have front wheel rub. Is it recommended to raise the front end by adjusting the torsion bars? Will this work? What are the pros and cons of doing so?

it'll work for about an inch adjustment. anything over you'll be putting a lot of stress on the stock set up and you'll alsoe need an alignment

I definitely plan for the alignment and will give the adjustment a try. I just don't know if the one inch difference will give me the clearance needed on the front side where the wheel rub is the worst. It only happens on the backside when the tires are turned all the way to the left or right.

My neighbor had his tortion bars adjusted and he amazingly got really close to 2 inches instantly doesnt take more than 15 minutes and that's if youve never done it before. Just remember to count the turns you make to each side so that your truck isnt sitting loppsided!
