I am looking for the fuel filler neck and ruber hose and steel pipe that
carry the fuel into the fuel tank. The assembly consists of about 5 pieces
including the rubber vent hose.
thanks
you must be havinmg the same trouble that I am, on my 85 silverado... the stock tank is 19 gal, but the replacement is only 16... meaning that the old filler neck doesn't quite line up...
i'm thinking about fixing the leak in my tank, rather than replace it with this smaller one that doesn't fit right...
but if i kept the smaller tank, i was gonna take the parts to Napa, and see if they could hand me some longer ones that i can cut to length and clamp in place. should be a pretty cheap fix.. maybe 20 bucks.
ah gotcha. didnt read it right the first time. thought you said fuel filter assembly.

I am just trying to replace my stock filler assembly.... the metal tubes have rusted thru and i dont seem to be able to locate any replacement parts for this. I tried having a local exhaust shop custom bend one for me but they say they cannot bend the 1-3/4" dia tube in that tight of a radius.
Anyone have used assembly they want to sell ?
mine is only two pieces of rubber, with some clamps... would that work on yours?

I could probably re-use the hose sections but the filler neck and steel tube are rusted thru.
thanks
