Lifting the front

I've got an 06 Z71 and want to lift the front to level the rake out. I've been reading about replacing the torsion keys and a little on spring spacers. What are the advantages/disadvantages of these? Any advice on this is greatly appreciated.

Do a search on torsion key lifts. You'd be suprised on the posts you'll find....there's a bunch of them.

You will be limited to torsion keys, or a full on lift kit. You do not have conventional springs up front that spacers will work for.
The downside to torsion key lifts, are that it limits travel extension. depending on how far you crank up the torsion bars after the keys are installed. This will make for a funny ride when a big bump is hit, and the suspension is topped out. A-arm suspensions have limited travel, and by lifting a vehicle within that travel limits the use of a full suspension cycle.

My neighbor adjusted his tortion bars a few turns and now his truck is level. Took him 10-15 mins tops and it was free

Thanks to all who replied. I will research the torsion lift a little more in depth. Thanks again for the insight.
