 | Which engine? This is my first post here besides the intro. I have just purchased a 1986 Chevy K20 4x4 3/4 ton truck. It was originally a diesel but has been converted to gas. The person I'm buying it from doesn't know if it has a 305 or 350. Where on the engine can I look to identify this engine? |

| On the back of the block on the bellhousing area,just behind the left hand cyl. head(drivers side) there will be a casting number about seven numbers or so, take down this number and go to www.motec.com and look on there for your number. |
