 | How long should i keep the factory oil? Just picked up a new express with a 6.0,,, Any Ideas on how long to keep factory oil??? I cant believe they use a break in oil. Always use Mobil one in my ford I suppose i 'llthrough it in the chevy?? Qdog |

| run it no more then 3k. then go to mobil one the rings will be seated then. It wouldn't hurt to change to conventional oil after less than 1k then run it for 3k then mobil 1 full synthetic. I run mobil 1 full synthetic in my 6.0. I bought it used with 30k and changed it to full synthetic mobil 1 the day i bought it and ran it ever since. I have been running it ever since it came out years ago. |
