Steering wheel

I have a 95 Z71 equipped with air bag. The leather steering wheel is coming apart. Does anyone know if I can put a grant steering wheel in its place or do I need to change the steering column to put a custom steering wheel.

You will be able to install an aftermarket wheel. You will have to purchase the correct adapter. Expect to have to live with he air baf light to be on constantly.
Forgot to mention that you willhave to remove the "clock spring". This is a round plastic piece used for the airbag. It is located just behind the wheel when you remove it.

Any place you buy the steering wheel for will carry the adapter. The adapter allows the installation of the wheel from the splined shaft of the column to the 5 small bolts that will physically attatch the wheel.
Expect to pay about $20.00 (U.S.)
