Column Shifter problems

I need help!!! I am trying to install a column shifter in my 66 chev pick up,
The shifter is out of 66 gmc, that had a powerglide. Am I going to be able to make it work with the Turbo 350 I am trying to mate it to? Will it be able to shift into all gears correctly?

You should have little problem with the amount of throw, (travel) in the linkage. Aftermarket companies have new linkages for this, as well as new identification glass that shows 3 speed instead of two speed. Looks nice to have the pointer inside the cab point to gear you have selected.
I use a 700r4 in my 57' chev that originally had a p-glide, and the 700 has an extra detent. The stock shift lever works well.

Those aftermarket companies that sell the linkage , could you mention who they are? I am a novice, and dont know many places to shop? Thanks Again
