no reverse!!!

truck is purring now but it has no reverse, and it will start in all gears, and it jumps forward, but will shift while driving but motor seems to bog down at times HELP!!!!!!

the starting in gear is becuse your neutral safety switch is bypassed. The no reverse tells me you probally have a bad transmission. the bogging down, we will need more info.

hey we took it to someone who knows a thing about tranny's and he got it pretty much fixed. reverse was just seized up from sitting for so long and the gear shifter had a little too much play in it. but its still a little sluggish or weak in drive. we are driving the **** out of it hoping the valves may just be stuck and also using lucas. thanks

took a rachet and tightened up under hood on steering column

they tightened the linkage. I talked about this on your other post about this same issue.
