Dumb Question

Does anyone know how to change the clock on a stock 85 Silverado? My grandmother keeps complaining about how it's wrong and I told her I would take care of it for her.

If you have the original manual for the stereo, it should tell you. If it is a factory unit, usually, there is a clock button, and holding it while pressing other buttons, you may stuble accross it.

I thought about that too but there's no button to switch from the time to the station... It only shows the time when you're playing the tape (which is a separate unit to the side) or if the stereo is off. That's why I'm confused...

have you tried to push in the tune button, usally that shows the time while the radio is playing. also, i believe they are right about the radio being off to set the clock. if you can't figure it out you could always unhook the battery a few minutes before noon so the memory will clear and reconnect at noon.

I'll try the Scan and Seek buttons out... I didn't think about using them since they are single directional... Good idea. Thanks...
