| Clicking sound under driver's side console There seems to be a clicking sound just above the driver's side pedals. Sounds like a relay opening and closing. It only does it while the truck is rolling......so I cant check it. It does it repeteadly and it is annoying. Has anyone experiences this before? |

| Depending on what kind of chasis it is, some trucks have dual batteries, such as in the case of GM RV chasis that have a regulator switch under the dash that monitors the battery charge, and will switch between batteries once one is full so both batteries can obtain a charge while that alternator is working. Or it also could be your heating and cooling vents. |

| Well, last night, I looked under there and there are 2 switches. I assume they are for the alarm (not stock)..... I turned one of them on.......because it was in the off position.........and this morning, I didnt hear the sound. I do have a problem with the vents though........anytime I ride with the windows open, I get hot air in the cab..........irregardless of the panel settings. |

| the one switch is the ignition cut off switch, it cuts the power off to the coil when the alarm is on. the other switch, which should push in and out is the valet mode switch. i have never used valet mode but i think it disables the alarm so you don't have to give the remote to the nascar wanna-be.
