| Which 5-speed are you planning on using? That B/W case will fit plenty of transmissions. The most common trans is the NV4500. A great strong 5-speed, that willl give you many miles of good use. These are getting popular, and will cost a few bucks, but worth it. Any change from autos to manuals may require driveshaft modifications. Manuals are usually shorter than most autos. |

| You will have to change t-case if you're current auto trans is a 700r4. The output shaft of that tranny is 27 spline, which makes the t-case input 27 splines as well. All most all manual trans are 32 spline output. You will need to find a t-case from a 2500 or 3500. I'm right in the middle of doing the same swap in a 1998 Chevy K2500. So if you need any additional info just ask. |
