 | Speedo correction Me again, i just changed out my rear axle due to wear, metal and excessive play. went from a 410 to 373 better for fuel though. but now my truck is like 10mph off as show 50 but going 60. how in the heck can i fix it. my truck is a 88 c2500 with the half moon sweep type speedo, i heard there is a chip on the back of the speedo i dunno. |

| i have an 88 1500, but the description of the speedo seems to match up, ive had my speedometer out and in pieces numerous times... theres no chip, all of the gauges are "plugged" into one giant chip, which is then stuck in the dash by a pin connection, but on the back of jsut the speedo specifically itself is simply to motor used to move the sweep. i would imagine there is someway to recalibrate it though, probably at a shop |
