| Changing a 1989 chevy k1500 tbi to a 355 carburated small block .lots of info plez i am curently finishi up my truck , and i would like alot of info on the swap , or where i could find some info plez .. I need info on just about everything thats included in the swap ... thank you very much. pscheers |

| Simple swap. All you need is a non computer dist. everything thing else for your gauges will go to the same place on the new motor, and if you have any electronics like map, knock, 02 sensors there is no need in replacing them.

| thanks thanks for the help i really appericate it . i was also wounderin about he vaccume and how to hook it up .. i know the brake booster goes to the carb , as well as the distributor , but what about the vaccume canster , can i chuck that , or does it have to bee hooked up to the carb as well once again thank you pscheers |

| You don't have to use it. The only thing that will need vacuum is the brake booster, distributor, and the ac system that I can think of. Tranny shouldnt since you should have a 700R4 (4speed auto)
