| have you checked for spark? Do you know what the actual fuel pressure is? I'm not sure of the exact pressure but if it is to low it will not run.

| yes i have spark and the pressure is good... if i put a splash of gas in the carb like air intake it will crank up for a few seconds. so im thinking fule injector solenoid or maybe a clog just need a few other ideas before i start wrenching and spend more time and money than i have to |

| Almost can gaurantee its your fuel pump. pressure should be around 50 - 60 psi at idle. If it is your pump and you do have to buy one don't get anything but an AC Delco pump. costly but well worth it. Don't settle for cheap junk and make sure you clean your tank out as best as you can.

| on the 95 s10 that i had, you could see the fuel being sprayed inside the TB. I had that particular problem on time and it ended up being a bad dist rotor. |

| there is a test plug under hood for factory priming of fuel system. hook power directly to plug and try. if it runs it is a bad distributor pickup. i have taken some in and they have tested good. good for ignition but there is a sensor in there also that tells fuel pump that distributor shaft is turning and engine needs fuel. make sure you put gel under sensor when installing or it will overheat and go out again. |
