ford f150 -97

checked out a Ford F150 today.Triton 4.6 engine V8 auto.$5900.00.Thought it was a good deal, but owner was selling it-you had to pay PST-7% on top of Gst-(7%) included)Sounded good no extras-power anything-air etc.But rust bubbles coming out end of box front of bottom of box.Figured about $500.00 body work.$7000.00 in the end.If it wasnt for the rust-good deal! Sad that Fords are bad for rust.

Vortec...

Yep. I Know I Have A 2002 Gmc, 4.8 Vortec. Nice Power Plant. Reliable As Sunset, And Not To Hard On Gas. It Ain`t Very Quick, But, I Can Give A 350 A Run For His Money.

The heads will bolt on any old school small block chevy, the only difference is the intake manifold has 4 bolts per head instead of 6. but there are all sorts of vortech style intakes available. awesome set of heads for out of the box performance. I'd like to own a set..
