| Hello, I was just wondering if anyone out there new how to disable the control the makes the front dvd player on my new truck turn off when I am not in park? I am sure it is some kind of bypass or just cutting and spliceing a wire, PLEASE HELP ME... It is driving me crazy.. Thanks for input Jason ( its a 2007 silverado crewcab ltz) |

| Find the park control wire and ground it out. you'll have to do the research on what color of wire it is.

| I will try and locate that and let everyone know how it worked, are you sure it won't short out the NAV-DVD system? Thanks for all of your input that everyone has sent, anything I can help you all with just ask!! |

| Any body out ther have any other idea's for me? Tried to find the groung switch and could not locate it in all that wire mess. any help is great for me thanks Jason |

| hmmm. i've got nothin buddy. i'd suggest get hold to some wire schematics for the dvd player and start searching

| you can't do it with the factory system. from what i was told before i bought mine there is a mercury switch in the radio that trips when the vehicle is moving. shoulda got the 1LT and put a aftermarket in. but if you find away let me know then i'll put the wife's back in her truck.

| If theres a mercury switch then tear the radio apart, take an ohm reading on it, and put a resistor in its place. Sounds easier then it probably would be though. I take no responsibility in what you do or try to do
