tranny

I got ahold to a 5.7l V8 came out of a 95 silverado. i have a 4.3l will my tranny hold up to that engine.

bolt up...yes hold up....maybe what year is the tranny and what is it in.

the tranny is the stock tranny from 92 . everything is still orginal on my 92 1500

hmm. if i'm thinking right that tranny is mechanical and that engine was bolted to a electronic tranny. you may need to upgrade or down grade one of the two. feel free to chime in if i'm wrong guys.

i was talking to a mechanic who now does hot shot he said it would bolt right up and would work.
