Tach and speedo out

The other day I lost all of my gauges except the fuel. Speedo and tach stopped working. I looked but couldn't find a fuse.
Also, the engine stops intermittently. Just for a split second. Not fuel, it seems to be electrical. Any suggestions from you wrench monkeys?
It's a 96 Ram 1500, 360 auto 4x4 with just over 200 clicks.

sounds like you need to have the inst. panal replaced. my truck the fuel guage has spun all the way around now i don't know how much i have and the speedo doesn't work in the mornings until it warms up first. but for gm that i was told that is a commin thing to go wrong. you can ask his name is Carl Cowles at digital_dash_solutions@comcast.net is his email i think his web site is the same. i found him off ebay and he is going to fix mine for me better than the dealer they want $75.00 for dian. and then $400.00 for me to buy it and "dds" is going to charge me starting at $175.00 and any upgrades i want after that

Welcome to the forum JBK.
Might want to inspect the instrument board for burns or cracks.
You just might see an obvious problem that a little solder will fix.
