| 92 dakota I have a 92 Dakota with a 318 that just quits while going down the road . I have changed the coil , the coil pickup, distributor cap , checked the plug and coil wires, but I get no fire to plugs. The computer triggers fuel to throttle body. This happened once before and I fixed it for about 2 months but I don"t know what I did . It must be a short somewhere but dose anyone venture a guess. any help appreciated motor turns over fine , distributor turns ,has gas,is there a crank sensor or cam sensor anywhere that I have missed because I cannot find either. Truck has about 124000 miles |

| Did you check the two plugs on the Distributor? Sometimes a little loose connection can stop the spark. I had a simlilar problem on a 1995 Mazda 626, ended up having to replace the plug. Cheap, bone yard fix, but just a thought.
