93 Dakota w/ Blown Turn Signals

It is the general consensus that I am an idiot. That being said, the turn signals and hazard lights on my Dakota just quit working the other day and I need to get them fixed for obvious reasons. I checked the fuse and it appears to be in good working order. The owner's manual just isn't real clear on that type of troubleshooting.
I know in my Crown Vic police car the electrical guy we use has talked about a universal switch of some sort. Would the same apply to a 93 Dakota? Everythiing else controlled on the steering column seems to be working just fine. How much can I expect to pay to have a switch like that replaced?

Are the bulbs blown? Water in the lense? Could it be a warn wire? I would check these long before I would consider swaping the multi-function switch. Those are NOT cheap, and can be a pain to replace! Just my thoughts though.

Welcome to the forum RatpigHoosier

Could easily just be the flasher. They are cheap and at any local parts store.
Plug and play just like a fuse.
Check to see if you have one for both turn and haz or one flasher for each of those.

Are your brake lights coming on ? Usually same bulb.
Do the indicators on the dash come on ?
Do you hear the flashers clicking (near fuses) ?

If the fuses are good, then try replacing the bulbs.
Your Dak should have two flashers: one for hazard and one for turn signals.
