96 ram 1500 318 Quit on me today!

96 dodge ram 1500,318/auto 107k mi.,tank 1/2 full.Driving today the truck just quit,no sputter or back fire.one the truck was home removed air cleaner added a small amt of gas cranked it over,nothing.I took my light tester and checked the coil for incoming power,nothing.chked fuses and relays,all seem ok.with ing in on position all gauges work and warning lites come on momentarley as usual.any ideas out there?Thanks in advance!

check for corrosion on your battery terminals i have a 85 ram for 7 months now and changed them twice .a buddy of mine told me to put a penny on the battery to attract the corrosion away from the terminal .it seems to be working.just guessing here but try cleaning them.

I have cleaned the terminals,truck cranks over great,just no fire.thanks anyhow!!!

mine does the same but it will restart about an hour after. ive replaced head gaskets intake gaskets ignition coil pick up coil vavle cover gaskets cap and rotor spark plugs wires , and now i am replacing the fuel pump. if it works ill tell you. ) hope that helps a little oh and i own a 96 dodge ram 318 4x4 sport.
