| It's a matter of what you can stop too. So don't forget that. I have several 1 ton trucks and I never go over 10 thousand and that includes trailer weight. |

| I just wanted to see if my truck could pull a 18 ft enclosed race trailer. My girlfriend and her mom poke fun at it cuz its only a "little" truck. Geez its got an 8 ft bed. Its longer than my girlfriends f-150. I dont want to kill my truck either.

| I would have to say.... NO. maybe empty, but with a car.... it will not last, and barely stop.... Just my $.02 take it for what it is.

| If you are going to tow anything like that I would get a weight distributing hitch and make sure you have your truck set up for electric brakes. I used to tow my 26' & 4500lb travel trailer with my 4.0l v6 ford explorer. With the correct set up I didn't have any problems. Joe |

| Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with. If you are nervous while driving the thing you will more likely cause something to happen. Joe |

hahaha i welded a 2" reese on mine and installed a eletric brake kit. i've pulled well over 10,000lbs with it. not very fast to get up speed, and hills kill it, but, level ground it pulls ok. my motto, if you squeeze that eletric brake unit and tires lock up, then it's ok to pull that's with my 94 3.9 dakota. 8ft bed
