| AirDog lift pump problem ???? Installed an AirDog aux. fuel pump/filter setup on my 2001 Dodge 3500 about 15,000 miles ago. Now I am having problems of when I start it cold, I have approx. 15# fuel pressure. If I take off and drive about 5 miles, the fuel pressure will slowly go down to 5#. If I then shut the truck off and let it sit for say 2 hours, I restart it, I am again back to 15# pressure. What the heck is going on ?? I did change both filters on AirDog and the filter on the engine. Did not help. Frustrated !!!! |

| bear with me. I'm not to up on the 24v cummins. Does your truck have an electric or mechanical fuel pump (not counting the air dog. I'm assuming it is after the airdog since you are using that as a lift pump. Where are you getting your pressure reading from? pressure before the airdog, between the airdog and factory pump, or after the factory pump before the injection pump. (or does the injection pump serve as the fuel pump too?) Did you have to modify the pick up in the tank in anyway with this setup?
